GamCare is the UK’s leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling-related harms. Our expert services are confidential and non-judgemental.

GamCare is now looking to recruit a Treatment Practitioner to work within our new problem gambling treatment services in Glasgow. This service will work closely with The RCA Trust, our partner which provides gambling treatment in other areas of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing face to face and telephone advice, assessment, brief or structured interventions and groups work to help people achieve their goals
  • Ensuring safeguarding issues are managed effectively
  • Work in partnership with other local services

You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) tools.

You will form part of an enthusiastic team working from several locations. Our service will be based in the city of Glasgow.

We are looking for an individual to work full time which will include some evenings and possible Saturdays.
