Role

Our Vision

We see Scotland as a welcoming place where non-native English speakers have the language skills and confidence to live fulfilling lives.

Our Mission

We provide accessible and relevant ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learning opportunities for adults, supporting integration, employability and personal development.

We support ESOL practitioners and learners to have their views heard.

We welcome all non-native English speakers, including asylum seekers, refugees, economic migrants and members of settled communities.

Digital ESOL development coordinator

Due to Covid -19 all our ESOL classes are being delivered online. We strive for these to be accessible to all ESOL learners, including those facing digital barriers. This role will develop Glasgow ESOL Forum’s capacity for digital inclusion and support our learners to continue to learn ESOL remotely.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of teaching ESOL to develop our capacity to reach digitally excluded ESOL learners. Your role will be to support the organisation by identifying, developing and distributing resources and equipment to support online ESOL learning. Your experience will develop the organisation’s capacity and strategy in digital inclusion by working with the staff team, learners, volunteers and maintaining and developing good working relationships with external partners.
