We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Communications Officer to join our friendly and dynamic External Relations Directorate at Young Scot. You’ll have relevant experience of working in a fast-paced, communications environment, and will have a commitment to delivering high-quality communications and stakeholder engagement activities. Your work will help to ensure that our Young Scot stakeholders know about our work to information, ideas and opportunities for young people.

Young Scot is the national youth information and citizenship charity for 11-26-year olds in Scotland. We provide young people with information, ideas and opportunities to help them make informed decisions and choices, helping them to navigate the challenges they face as they grow up, particularly during times of transition.

About this opportunity
Our Communications Officer will deliver and coordinate our external stakeholder communications, focusing on digital channels, including youngscot.net, Young Scot Twitter and Young Scot LinkedIn.
You will be stakeholder communications lead throughout Young Scot, ensuring our branding and vision are consistent in all key external messages to our stakeholders. You will work within the External Relations Directorate to plan and execute a strong and compelling communications strategy which showcases Young Scot as one of Scotland’s most exciting and impactful charities.
