Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate leader who possess a detailed knowledge of the homelessness & housing sector. Ideally the candidates should have considerable experience managing youth services, and come with a demonstrable track record of staff and service management.

The Service Manager will be responsible for the effective management and development of services under their area of responsibility and, working with the Assistant Director, they will also be responsible for developing new service provision within their area.

The initial activity for this Service Manager will be the implementation of a new Housing First for Youth service in Fife. Strong networking and organisational skills are required, as is the ability to form and lead a brand new team of project workers. This is a great opportunity for the right person to learn new skills as well as showcase their experience and make a valuable contribution to the lives of many young people in Fife.

The Service Manager will work from our new Fife office, as well as dispersed across the Fife local authority area and will frequently visit our other services across Scotland. As such access to a car and a full driving licence are essential.
