The candidate should have experience of delivering support, advocacy and information to women experiencing domestic abuse and of working with support plans and risk assessments. You must have an understanding of the issues affecting women experiencing domestic abuse and share our commitment to feminism and equality. The Women’s Worker may support women in a variety of settings, including outreach, refuge and office support. Applicants must be highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to supporting vulnerable women who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse.
HNC in Social care, Social Work or relevant SSSC recognised qualification (min Level 3) and experience in Support Work is required. Domestic abuse experience would be advantageous.
Car and clean driving licence required with evening/weekend work involved.
