Are you passionate to lead an innovative and new team to strengthen communities and prevent homelessness in the north of Scotland?

We are looking for a coordinator to lead our new Community Support and Development team in Aberdeen and Inverness. The post will oversee a team of four staff members (1.6 FTE). Our targeted homelessness prevention projects are tailored to local needs and work in partnership with churches. We engage with individuals in communities to revitalise areas where the potential for homelessness is a real concern.

The role will involve overseeing a variety of work including the work of an existing Community Development Worker who oversees a drop-in on King Street, a new Recovery & Resettlement Worker in Aberdeen and one in Inverness and a Family Worker based in Torry but working across locations in Aberdeen.

Candidates will require significant experience and a demonstrable passion for working with people from a range of backgrounds including vulnerable individuals and a personal drive to see people on the margins of society have their lives transformed.

The role is open to opportunities for flexible working in conversation with the Director of Homelessness Prevention.
