Role

We are recruiting for an exciting new post that will support the delivery of the Disability Employment Gap Public Social Partnership (PSP).

A PSP is a strategic partnering arrangement which involves the third sector in the design and commissioning of public services. The Disability Employment Gap PSP is a unique and forward thinking initiative in the Scottish employability landscape. It will identify and deliver a range of innovative projects which support employers to address the gaps in their knowledge and expertise, improve the employment prospects of people who have disabilities and achieve a lasting culture change in our workplaces.

The Project Manager will support the development of the PSP, co-ordinate its day-to-day activities and work closely with partners and workstreams and ensure the aims of the PSP are delivered.

SUSE has been selected as the lead partner of the PSP and is the host employer of the PSP Project Manager. We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication skills and knowledge of the employability sector. She/he will have experience of delivering successful projects, be adept at building partnerships and engaging stakeholders and demonstrate drive and commitment to achieving lasting change in Scotland’s workplaces.
