Role

Children 1st work to give every child in Scotland a safe and secure childhood. We achieve this by providing direct services to vulnerable children and their families across Scotland.

Raising funds is essential to ensuring we can deliver support for children and families. Children 1st is looking to expand its skilled and successful fundraising team, with three exciting new roles to help deliver on its ambitious three year fundraising strategy.

This role in the Philanthropy and Partnerships team will work with our existing corporate supporters whilst cultivating and securing new relationships in order to deliver highly successful partnerships. The post holder will be responsible for managing a prospect pipeline, building and maintaining relationships with both corporates and major donors.

We need someone who is focused, driven, shares our vision and is able to deliver innovation and creativity to their work. Being an excellent communicator and relationship manager on all platforms is vital. Our values are important to us and we need someone who can translate this to our supporters through authentic and creative relationships.

If you have a track record of establishing and managing relationships along with knowledge of Scotland’s corporate sector and a passion for supporting Scotland’s children - we want to hear from you!

In return you will be offered a competitive salary, 40 days annual leave inclusive of 9 days public holidays, flexible working opportunities, a contributory pension scheme and generous maternity/adoption and paternity leave benefits.

This is a permanent, full time role of 35 hours per week. Based flexibly, with offices located in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The role will require frequent travel across Scotland.
