IMAGINE what you could achieve if we put our minds to it
Background:
Founded in 2012, the ICAS Foundation is a charity registered in Scotland which supports academically talented young
people facing economic and social barriers to further education, to gain a degree in accountancy and finance.
The students face significant barriers to further education, including low household income, challenging family
circumstances, limited awareness of opportunities and living in areas of deprivation.
The current focus of activity is awarding bursaries and grants to young people studying accountancy and/or finance at
university together with a mentoring scheme and support in securing internships and graduate roles.
Our objective is to increase the number of students supported by the foundation, increase the number of volunteer
mentors, and increase donations.
