Role
Established in 2004, Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre (LRCC) provides a support, information and advocacy service for survivors aged 12 and over across Lanarkshire who have experienced recent and/or historic sexual violence, including rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation. We also work in schools and with young people across Lanarkshire and strategically with multi-agency partners, towards preventing sexual violence.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Prevention Worker to deliver and develop our sexual violence prevention work in schools, youth settings and the local community.

The Role
Inverclyde Women’s Aid is recruiting for the full time role of Children and Young People’s Support Worker working in our refuge and across community/school locations. Using a multi-agency trauma based approached, and with both individual and group work caseloads, the role holder will provide a high standard of support to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.
The Organisation
Inverclyde Women’s Aid is a charitable organisation established in 1985. We provide specialist domestic abuse services to women, children & young people who are experiencing, or have experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault, rape and childhood sexual abuse.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the skills and abilities to engage with and develop relationships with vulnerable children and young people within professional boundaries. You will have knowledge of the Children’s Hearing System, experience of providing individual and group support and understanding of child development and GIFREC (Getting it Right for Every Child). Previous involvement in child protection work and experience of interagency work is essential for success in this role.
We are looking to recruit a part - time Access and Inclusion Worker (28 hours per week)
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in providing support to people using trauma informed support skills and have a sound knowledge of the impact of rape, sexual abuse and exploitation on survivors.

Rape Crisis Scotland is the national organisation working on sexual violence in Scotland. We work in partnership with the 17 member Rape Crisis Centres across Scotland and run the national Rape Crisis Scotland helpline.
This post is funded by the Scottish Government until September 2021, with further funding being sought beyond this.

Duty Crisis Support Worker (office based)

The role of the Duty Crisis Support Worker is to provide a confidential, safe and supportive information service to women and agencies who contact EWA through the crisis phone line and/or ‘drop in’ service, and where appropriate to also assess women, and any accompanying children who are affected by domestic abuse, for refuge accommodation. The role will be based in the EWA office in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.
Candidates are required to have the following:
· Professional Development Award in Domestic Abuse Advocacy (IDAA/IDVA),or a recognised qualification Social Work, Community Education or SVQ3 Health and Social Care or higher.
· Ability to register as a Housing Support worker with the SSSC.
· Adult and Child PVG scheme membership will be required.
· Clean Driving Licence.
