Social movement for change is central to See Me’s approach and this vacancy provides an exciting opportunity to join the team who are working to grow social movement towards ending mental health stigma and discrimination in communities and within priority groups across Scotland. With strong interpersonal skills you will facilitate and empower people, particularly people with lived experience of mental health problems to take action. Using community development principles you will take forward a range of projects and activities to support people to be safely and effectively engaged in action to end stigma and discrimination. This role involves extensive partnership working including people with lived experience of mental health problems, community members, and organisations and partners who support change and improvement for priority populations, equality groups and people experiencing multiple stigma.

The role will be both challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate will be an energetic and driven individual who is motivated to make a positive impact to end mental health stigma and discrimination. Collaborative working is key to all roles: candidates must be skilled in partnership working and have a strong track record of working as part of a team.
