Children 1st is Scotland’s National Children’s Charity. We help Scotland’s families to put children first, with practical advice and with support in difficult times. And when the worst happens, we support survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events in childhood, to recover.

We have an exciting opportunity to positively impact on the lives of children, young people and their families by working alongside them, building strong relationships empowering individuals to meet the various challenges they face.

Working as part of the Glasgow Supporting Families Team, the Engaging Families Team will provide a range of emotional and practical supports to both children and parents, impacted by not only the Covid 19 pandemic but the resultant poverty, isolation and trauma it has brought or unearthed.

If you have experience of working with children and their families and have an SVQ level 3/HNC or equivalent in Child Care/Social Care or related area, accredited counselling qualification, or other relevant qualification at SCQF level 7 then.... we want to hear from you.

This is a fixed term, full time role of 35 hours per week, funded until 31 March 2023. Hours to be worked flexibly to suit the needs of the service and the families, with some evening and weekend working required.
