Role
Cumbernauld Action for Care of the Elderly CACE was founded in 1990 and is the leading provider of quality day-care activities for older people in Cumbernauld and surrounding villages. We provide creative social based activities and learning opportunities and before the pandemic this was primarily in group settings. We also ran a Community Transport project with regular outings and transport to and from our centre. Because of the impact of COVID 19 a lot of our services are having to change to better fit our community needs. We are looking for an experienced person to develop and deliver our changing and growing range of activities for older people.
Main purpose of job:
The main purpose of this post is to work with the CEO and Director of Transformational Change to lead the operational delivery, reporting and evaluation of CACE’s range of services for older people.
Main responsibilities:
• Operational responsibility for the design, planning and delivery of services
• Leading & Managing the operational staff who deliver the services
• Reporting and record keeping for the services
• Evaluation of the services
• Promotion of the services

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser with demonstrable skills in communication and community work to develop and deliver our changing and growing range of activities
Main purpose of job:
The main purpose of this post is to work with the Fundraising and Communications Manager to develop and deliver the new fundraising strategy in line with the CACE business plan to achieve financial targets. Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including community groups, events and corporate partnership opportunities to raise awareness of CACE and develop the supporter base.
Main responsibilities:
· Support the development of diverse income streams including Community, Events, Corporate, Trusts, Major Donor, Individual Giving, In Memory & Legacy Fundraising to achieve agreed income targets
· Develop appropriate fundraising tools for proposals and presentations, cases for support and events materials.
· Manage and maintain accurate data
· Create and implement stewardship processes and supporter journeys
· Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
· Identify development opportunities, including partnership opportunities for awareness and fundraising
· Recruit and manage volunteers to help with fundraising activities
· Attend and represent CACE at events
· Participate in training and other activities as requested
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge on issues relevant to the role and the charity sector
· General admin duties, and occasional cash handling

Job Context
Roar require an appropriately experienced CEO to lead in ensuring that the network of health and wellbeing opportunities is developed and delivered to the maximum capacity, quality, reach and best value while delivering the outcomes for older people across Renfrewshire.
Training, supervision support and on the job, mentoring will be given.

Playlist for Life, the UK's leading music and dementia charity, is seeking an experienced fundraiser to help us maintain and grow our funding, allowing us to continue in our mission of improving the lives of people living with dementia.
Playlist for Life is the personal music and dementia charity founded in 2013 by writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson. We have ambitious plans for the next two years and thanks are recruiting for this new post to help support and roll out our large-scale expansion programme. By 2022 we want to establish a vibrant UK network of Help Points, volunteers, and trained healthcare and social care professionals, all creating and using playlists in their communities to help manage dementia systems, alleviate distress and reconnect relationships.
We have seen rapid growth over the past four years, growth that has been made possible in large part to the generosity of a range of charitable Trusts and Foundations. The successful candidate will help us build on this success by growing our existing pipeline of funding and seeking new funding opportunities.
You will be responsible for generating funding for Playlist for Life by researching and identifying suitable Trusts, Foundations, and other grant-making bodies, writing timely, factual, and compelling funding applications, and co-ordinating the writing of reports for funders.
