Inspiring Scotland is a registered Scottish charity and one of the world’s largest venture philanthropy organisations. We support over 360 charities across 16 social-impact funds, manage over £30m of charity grant-making per annum and have 49 full and part-time employees. We are passionate about addressing inequality and improving the lives of people living in Scotland’s most vulnerable communities.
We are currently recruiting a part-time Performance and Impact Advisor to support charities funded through Scottish Governments Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Rape Crisis Specific Funds to effectively deliver and report on funded projects.
As a critical friend you will oversee project payments and monitoring and coordinate additional capacity building support. You will support Fund Managers by helping to co-ordinate learning from funded projects, facilitate peer support opportunities, support new Fund development and wider sector development.
Over the next year the VAWG and Rape Crisis Specific Funds will evolve to a new programme called Delivering Equally Safe. The Performance and Impact Advisor will contribute to support for applicants and the assessment process for Delivering Equally Safe, continuing their role managing a caseload of funded charities when new funding commences in October 2021.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with programme management experience to work directly with a range of essential charities supporting their innovation, development, and performance. You will be contributing to an exciting new programme that is at the forefront of Scottish Government and COSLAs ambitions to prevent and eradicate all forms of violence against women and girls in Scotland.
