North Argyll Carers Centre is a value-based charity, which supports those who look after a family member or friend due to illness, disability, frailty or addiction on an unpaid basis. We are affiliated to Carers Trust.
We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers across the Oban Lorn and Isles area. Our Assistant Manager will work alongside the Centre Manager to assist in the ongoing development of our services and to ensure we deliver the highest standards of emotional and practical support to young and adult carers
· Responsibility for the smooth running of the organisation, ensuring that appropriate policies and procedures are in place and implemented to maintain safe and effective delivery of service.
· Oversight of the production of Adult Carer Support Plans and Young Carer Statements and collection of data for statutory and non-statutory funders.
· Line Management of the Adult Carer Support Worker team, being their first point of contact, setting targets, managing performance, overseeing their wellbeing and identifying opportunities for their personal development
The successful applicant will have substantial demonstrable experience of leading and supervising teams, managing service delivery, problem solving, facilitation of groups, managing and delivering projects and implementing change. They will be resilient, self-motivated and confident; a team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; practical and methodical with a keen eye for detail.
A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is required for this post.
