Upmo is a charity operating in Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian, providing support and opportunity for adults with learning difficulties, autism, and additional support needs.
Every week, we encourage our students to build confidence, use imagination and develop life skills through music, drama, art and other expressive and physical activities.
As part of our continued response to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, we now have a number of Project Worker positions available. We are seeking to recruit a variety of staff, with a range of skills and experience – a background in teaching or facilitating, especially in music, drama, IT and the creative arts, is especially desirable.
The role includes supporting students in workshops and working one to one with students, and facilitating workshops. The role also involves supporting people with personal care, as and when required.
We are recruiting for both permanent and fixed-term (12 month) employees; full time (30 hours per week) and part time available. Upmo is a Living Wage Employer; the rate of pay for this role is £9.30 p/h.
Closing date: 30th October, 5pm
