An exciting opportunity to join our growing Scottish charity which offers specialist assessment, advice, information, and support to families affected by Huntington’s disease (HD) and to all involved in their care.
We are recruiting for a Financial Wellbeing officer with a special interest in Energy Advice. With strong people skills, you will have three years’ experience in a money advice, energy advice or welfare rights. You will work directly with service users on welfare rights, debt management, energy advice and financial planning issues. You will have strong organisational skills and be able to work to deadlines. You will work autonomously part of a small team of financial wellbeing staff to significantly improve the financial outcomes of families and work in an integrated way with a range of clinical and youth services to improve the quality of life of people living with Huntington’s disease. The team cover the whole of Scotland and the successful candidate will support clients in Tayside, Fife and Forth Valley.
A clean current driving licence and use of a car is essential.
The successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme check.
NB Due to current Covid-19 restrictions all staff are currently working from home. Interview and induction processes for successful candidates will take place via Microsoft Teams.
