Do you want to work for a caring organisation that believes in people?
Do you want to make a difference?
As a Recovery Coordinator with responsibility for Group Work at Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
With this role you’ll be working as part of the recovery service team based in Bathgate, West Lothian
The team supports people with their or their loved ones’ drug and/or alcohol issues to find their way in recovery.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.
You’ll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.
This is what a member of staff wrote about doing the post :
I loved the job. A tremendous feeling of job satisfaction when you see people come together, share personal experiences, hold each other accountable You cannot buy experience like that see people grow, and feel better about themselves from very low confidence to giving a presentation to the group.
I loved the concept of the psycho educational aspect of recovery, through work and fun to being heard and believed in.
I saw people start to believe in themselves and make positive changes in their life such as volunteering etc
Our values are to be compassionate, open and bold. If this sounds like you we’d love to hear from you so click apply.
