Support Workers

Various hours, full and part time up to 39 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £9.81 (£9.30 induction rate)

Relief Support Workers

Hourly Rate: £9.30

Sleepover Rate: £9.30 per hour

Due to the ongoing growth and development of our services in South Ayrshire we currently have opportunities for Support and Relief Register Workers. We are really excited to be opening a new core and cluster service in central Ayr, where we will offer bespoke person centred supports to around 12 people.

As a Support Worker you will join our well-established teams working with people to provide high quality individualised support to adults and young people who have a range of support needs including autism and learning disabilities. Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a commitment to helping people to live the lives they wish.

On a day to day basis we support people with all aspects of daily living including; personal care, taking care of their home and finances as well as developing and maintaining full and active participation in the community.A commitment to a person-centred approach is essential and experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable.

Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people we support this includes; evenings, weekends, overnight responsibilities, sleepovers and waking nights in most circumstances.

Key provides excellent professional supervision, support and training, including access to the SVQ Framework and a chance to really make a difference to people’s lives.

If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract because you have other commitments, then there are opportunities to join our register of relief workers who provide support based on their availability.
