Role

Children 1st has pioneered Family Group Conferencing in Scotland since the 1990’s as a primary restorative approach. We continue to be passionate about our vision:

“A Scotland where no life-changing decision is made for any child or young person without the opportunity of a Family Group Conference”.

This is post will support our development of FGDM in line with the Promise supporting the use and development of FGDM in Children 1st stand across Scotland. This is a key aspect of or our support for children and their families and we are seeking someone with the strategic skills to develop and lead our FGDM work.

If you have experience of Family Group Decision Making and experience of leadership and development, we would welcome your application.

If you are an experienced professional with a Social Work, Community work, Counselling or other appropriate qualification we want to hear from you.

This is a permanent post of 35 hours a week. This post will require travel throughout Scotland, hours to be worked flexibly to suit the needs of the service including evenings and weekends, if required.
