Role

Aberlour Child Care Trust are launching a new family wellbeing service, Aberlour Sustain North Ayrshire. This service will work alongside families, communities, and partners within the Kilwinning Wellness Group to offer caring and responsive support to children and families. Something which is now needed more than ever as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. Aberlour Sustain - North Ayrshire will deliver the support families need, when they need it, every day of the year. The aim of the service is to ensure that children and young people can continue to flourish at home, at school and in their local community.

Our Family Wellbeing service will work through relationships, build on existing strengths and interests, help children and families build skills and confidence and encourage new community connections. Our aim is to help all families feel safe, confident, capable, and included. Our approach has been developed through consultation with local families and partners within the Kilwinning Wellness group.

This post will be based in the service base where you will provide administrative support to the team, assisting with general finance, recording\reporting and reception duties. Applicants should be enthusiastic, energetic and committed, to working in a relationship based culture based on respect, integrity, innovation and the ability to challenge, you will share our vision that collaborative working and relationship based early intervention is the best option for children and families who are feeling overwhelmed or excluded.

You will ideally have a relevant qualification at SCQF level 7 or above (or equivalent knowledge) together with the ability to use IT applications such as Word and Excel, and have experience of working in a busy office environment and have a passion for the work that we undertake.
