SAMH is looking for up to three Trustees to join its board. We’re at an exciting moment in the SAMH journey, as we take the time this year to develop our next strategy to make a lasting difference for people experiencing mental health problems.
We are particularly keen to hear from people across Scotland who will bring different perspectives and skills to SAMH. Some of the areas the board would like to increase its expertise include: innovation, commercial, finance, therapeutic delivery, children and young people and public policy.
Positive changes have taken place in recent years, and we have seen an increase in the prominence given to mental health; but significant challenges remain - none more so than those challenges presented by the worldwide pandemic Covid-19.
Our Trustees play an enormously valuable role in helping us towards our vision and mission. If you share our passion for this cause and want to bring about a positive and lasting impact on Scotland’s mental health, we would love to hear from you.
This is a voluntary position, non-remunerated (out-of-pocket expenses paid). SAMH is committed to equality and diversity throughout our organisation and at this time we would like to encourage applications from women, people from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic background, disabled people and young people.
A PVG check will apply to this role.
