This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Midlothian Family Wellbeing Hub, providing support across Midlothian. The post aims to integrate the provision of intensive family support with expert money and debt advice. This will enable families to resolve debt and money problems become more financially resilient and achieve long-term sustainable outcomes.
A priority for the Project Worker will be to increase the capacity of our current service to provide Type I and II money advice predominantly in the Penicuik area, based within a community hub in Penicuik, in partnership with Food Fact Friends and other partner agencies.
You will work in close partnership with Children 1st Midlothian Family Wellbeing Hub staff, offering additional budgeting advice to families attending service support groups as well as establish partnerships with local agencies and statutory services.

This is a fixed term, part time, 17.5 hour post funded until the 31 May 2021. Hours to be worked flexibly to suit the needs of the service, evenings and weekends as required.
