Good quality records are vital in showing individual progress against care plans and personal goals; building a meaningful description of important events in a child’s life; and ultimately providing them with a link to their past whenever they want to find out more about their childhood.

Following rigorous consultation, development and training Aberlour has been using Microsoft Dynamics as our case management system for the last couple of years. Ongoing analysis has identified a need to develop further awareness of quality recording and ensure consistent best practice across the organisation. We are looking for someone to lead a 9-month project to focus on these areas and help the organisation ensure that current and future staff can feel confident in this key area of responsibility within their role as a social care worker.

You will use your extensive experience of recording and producing reports related to assessments and care planning to work alongside Assistant Directors, Service Managers and our Dynamics Champions to embed recording best practice across our services enabling meaningful reports to be generated at individual, service and organisational level.

You will also take responsibility for supporting the training of new services just starting to use Dynamics.

We are recruiting for a Skin Camouflage Co-ordinator that will take the lead in delivering the Skin Camouflage Service across Scotland working with colleagues across the organisation .

You will have experience of supporting volunteers accompanied with excellent organisational and communication skills. The service is in an exciting phase and about to embark on a transformational year and your experience of developing strong and productive relationships with partners including the NHS, local authorities and third sector organisations will be invaluable.

Key objectives of the role:

1. Day-to-day co-ordination of the Skin Camouflage Service (SCS) in Scotland, liaising closely with the Head of Skin Camouflage Service on service innovation and continual improvement.

2. Volunteer recruitment, training and co-ordination of Practitioners (SCPs),

3. Clinic administration of all SCS appointments in Scotland, from enquiry/referral, appointment to completion, ensuring that all quality and operational KPIs, data management and evaluation requirements are met.

4. To support the Head of Scotland in engaging and developing a range of stakeholders to ensure excellent referral relationships with healthcare professionals, third sector and local authorities.

We are looking for someone with:

· Demonstrable experience of engaging and developing relationships with healthcare professionals, local authorities and local providers.

· Previous volunteer management or co-ordination experience or equivalent.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organisational skills and a systematic approach to work with the ability to prioritise between competing demands.

As a result of expansion of Aberlour’s services we are seeking a part-time HR Assistant to join our team. Working alongside your fellow HR Assistants and HR Business Partner you will support a portfolio of services with their HR administrative requirements. These will include areas such as drafting and publishing recruitment adverts and issuing candidate invites; undertaking rigorous safer recruitment checks; sickness recording and issuing contracts. As part of this busy team, you will contribute to the delivery of an excellent service and will have daily contact with managers and staff throughout the organisation.

You will have experience of working in a busy role juggling conflicting priorities. You will have proficient IT skills with experience of using applications such as Word and Excel. You will thrive on working with detail and have a passion for learning new processes. You will ideally hold a relevant qualification at SCQF level 7 or above or have equivalent knowledge ideally gained within a similar HR role.

This post provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of HR within a fast-paced environment, including using a specialised computerised HR system.

The post is part-time working 22.5 hours per week. There is some flexibility regarding how hours can be worked although one of the working days must be a Friday. This post will be able to take advantage of our flexi-time system. To enable the support of the team it is preferable if you can spend some of your working week in Stirling but otherwise home working can be accommodated.

Aberlour’s Guardianship Service supports unaccompanied asylum seeking or trafficked children and young people to understand their progress through the asylum system, feel supported through the process, access the help they need and make informed decisions based on the available options. We help refugee children and young people, and victims of trafficking who arrive in Scotland without their parents.

Are you an experienced administrator, comfortable with financial information, petty cash and developing spreadsheets? If so we want to hear from you. We need someone to help develop this vital service and ensure its success for these vulnerable children.

We are looking to recruit to an 18.75 hours per week post. Hours will be worked flexibly in line with service demand (availability can be discussed at interview). This post is offered on a fixed term basis with an expected end date of 31st December 2022.

You will support the service with general and financial administrative tasks including the co-ordination of recruitment paperwork for volunteers joining the service. You will have administrative experience gained through working within a busy office or social care environment. You will be comfortable working with Microsoft Office packages including Excel and be able to create spreadsheets and deal with numerical information. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills.

You will have a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or equivalent experience.
