Barnardo's Safer Choices is a specialist service targeted specifically at children and young people aged 18 years and under who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing sexual and criminal exploitation.
The service makes contact with children and young people via street work in Glasgow City Centre, through group work in residential schools/children's units and in mainstream schools as well as engaging in intensive 1:1 support.
This is an exciting NEW post in partnership with Glasgow Alcohol and Drugs Partnership and CORRA Partnership Drugs Initiative. The post is funded to January 2023.
This role requires you to work flexible hours including weekends, a car driver with access to a vehicle is also desirable.
Membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme through Disclosure Scotland is essential.
