Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of Carrick Family Wellbeing Service in South Ayrshire. The service is a partnership between Children 1st and South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

The service offers community based, child centred family wellbeing support across the Carrick Locality of Girvan, Maybole and the surrounding villages. The post will be based in Girvan; however, the successful candidate will be expected to travel across the Locality to connect with and support families.

The role will require an experienced and skilled practitioner who has excellent knowledge of trauma sensitive support and is able to get alongside families to understand their stories and jointly agree appropriate supports to meet need and promote strengths. The successful candidate will be required to work in close partnership with multi-agency partners within the GettingIt Right for Every Child framework.
