This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service providing support to children, young people and their families in the community where substance misuse has played a role in all their lives.

We are looking to recruit additional sessional support staff to work alongside Project Workers, helping support the development of targeted group work for parents in recovery as well as, children and young people. There may also be some school based roles and further opportunities to get alongside families to offer practical and emotional support as part of an agreed support package.

We need sessional staff who are available on weekdays with occasional availability for evening work. There may also be potential additional hours throughout week to help support partnership activities with the South Community Recovery Network and the South Recovery Hub.

In addition, we are interested in hearing from potential candidates who have some experience of delivering groupwork in relation to parenting support.

It would be desirable to have an SVQII or similar qualification.

This sessional post is funded initially until 31 March 2021. Hours to be worked on required weekdays with occasional evenings
