Would you like to support isolated and lonely people with a history of homelessness?

Passing the Baton is Bethany’s Befriending Service operating in Edinburgh. Our aim is to befriend people back into the community. We befriend adults who may feel lonely and socially isolated and may also struggle with homelessness.

The principal role of the Coordinator will be to facilitate groups that include the Men’s Group and the Job & Volunteering Group. In addition to the groups, the Facilitator will also befriend and organise befriending relationships for people referred to the service.

Candidates will require significant experience and a demonstrable passion for working with people from a range of backgrounds including vulnerable individuals who may have complex needs. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about seeing lives transformed.
