Role

We are delighted to invite applications for the post of Administrator to provide administration support of the highest quality and assist in the charity’s governance.

About the Job

The role will be to provide flexible, proactive and expert level administrative support to colleagues across Alzheimer Scotland, whilst engaging widely with internal and external stakeholders. This means you’ll be interacting closely and getting involved with every part of what we do here at Alzheimer Scotland. You will help run a busy office, deal with correspondence, and support colleagues in an organisation with over 300 staff across Scotland. This is a varied role and no two days will be the same.

You will assist the Chairs of committees in their roles and be responsible for the co-ordination, scheduling and organising of these in line with our rules of governance and their Terms of Reference, producing high quality minutes and summaries of each meeting. You will gather and collate information from across the organisation for dissemination internally and externally.

You will be part of the switchboard team for any incoming calls, welcoming visitors and undertaking a wide range of admin tasks. As you will have a lot to do with the day to day running of the office you will be expected to be in the office most of the time.

About You

Being a great administrator goes without saying but you will also be a strong communicator with a high level of integrity and someone who exercises tact and diplomacy, delivers to deadlines and takes real pride in the accuracy and quality of your work.

You must be highly organised, have great attention to detail with excellent IT skills, and a ‘can do’ attitude.

We are looking for someone who has had previous experience in a role of a similar nature.

Reporting to the Executive Support Lead and Office Manager this is a temporary position to 31 March 2023.
