About the role
Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire is the respected and valued support organisation for the community and voluntary sector in North Lanarkshire.
The role will involve building relationships with local community and voluntary sector organisations and community groups to create capacity that can support individuals, their families and carers to take control of their own health and wellbeing, integrate into the local area and live independently. It will also support the provision of practical and emotional support to refugees and asylum seekers that assist with issues such as finances, health, housing, life skills, personal safety, legal / family reunification issues, parenting and ESOL.
