About us

The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society (The Caley) was established in 1809 to promote ‘the encouragement and improvement of the best fruit, the most choice flowers and the most useful culinary vegetables’. As a registered Scottish Charity [SC006522], The Caley seeks to encourage meaningful horticultural education for individuals of all abilities. The Caley X Coalfield Regeneration Trust (CRT) Partnership was established to help people of all backgrounds and abilities gain new gardening skills that work in harmony with nature through completion of The Caley’s Grow and Learn in Nature (GLiN) Award. We are now looking for a new member to join our small team.

You will support and extend the delivery of the GLiN Award to 6 projects within East Ayrshire and the Central Belt. This role will involve development of a wide range of educational resources as well as administration and marketing duties.
