Role

Partners for Inclusion was established in 2004 as an independent charity providing individualised support for people with learning disabilities and/or mental ill health.

We have continuously strived to ensure the individuals have control over their own lives through self-directed support no matter what their personal circumstances. Creating and maintaining an ordinary life for all through inclusion and the promotion of independence is at the heart of what we do.

This represents an exciting time for our organisation and the Development Leaders are key roles within our team!

Essential to the role:

  • A strong value base and excellent leadership skills that will ensure the people we support are at the centre of everything we do
  • You will have a proven track record at partnership working in order to involve families and other agencies to explore innovative support and develop services
  • Be able to think “outside the box” to allow people to reduce paid support by finding employment, friends and community connections.

As a Development Leader you will be involved in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with the people we support, staff, families and other agencies whilst keeping up-to-date with developments in social care.

A vital part of the role is to coach and mentor support practitioners to remain motivated and engaged and ensure a high-quality professional service is delivered to the people we support.
