Role

ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated SVQ Assessor/IV to join us in developing a qualified and competent workforce.

As SVQ Assessor/IV you will have responsibility for supporting candidates to achieve SVQ Social Services & Healthcare Level 2 (SCQF Level 6) and Social Services & Healthcare Level 3 (SCQF L7). You will be responsible for carrying out internal verification activity in line with IV Strategy. In your role, you will support ENABLE Scotland in professionalising frontline roles and supporting staff to meet the conditions of SSSC registration. You will build strong and positive internal and external networks to support the successful delivery of the Learning and Development SVQ strategy.

About You

Successful candidate must:

  • Hold SVQ Qualification in Assessment i.e. D32 & D33 or A1 or L&D9DiLevel 3
  • Hold SVQ Level 3 (SVQ L7) or above.
  • Have achieved relevant Internal Verifier award for SVQ or be working towards it D34 or V1 or L&D 9DI and L&D11 or Level 4 Certificate in Leading the IQA of Assessment Processes and Practice.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, facilitation and networking skills
  • Possess high standard of written communication
  • Demonstrate effective planning and organisation skills.
  • Hold a registrable qualification acceptable to the SSSC
  • Show detailed and in-depth knowledge of National Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice, Registration requirements plus the structures and workings of the SSSC and Care Inspectorate.
  • Driving License and access to a car for work purposes is essential for this role
