We are 6 months into an 18 month contract with two other UK nations, promoting and growing the Safe Spaces initiative. This role sits within the Safe Spaces Project Safe Spaces Locations - UK SAYS NO MORE, an initiative launched during the pandemic to increase opportunities for survivors of domestic abuse to discreetly access specialist support in physical and online safe spaces, including pharmacies and banks.
We have hit the ground running in those 6 months, establishing connections with national and local partners to get buy-in and support for the initiative. We have investigated and developed a quality assurance framework, as well as information and resources for existing Safe Spaces providers. With just under 12 months left on the contract, we are looking for a well-connected, excellent communicator to build on this relationship building and take forward as a priority communicating with local and national partners.
