Visibility Scotland is now seeking to recruit a Patient Support Worker to become part of a person-centred team, predominantly based within Edinburgh Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion. This post may require occasional travel to hospital sites in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to provide cover as and when required.

The post-holder will liaise with patients, family members and professionals to ensure that people experiencing changes to their daily life due to a visual impairment receive the correct support at the right time. The post holder must have excellent communication skills and the innate desire to provide inclusive support to all.

The Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Eye Clinic Patient Support service provides a bridge between the clinic to the community. The successful post holder will enable seamless service provision, directly referring to Sight Scotland’s Visual Impairment Adult Rehabilitation and Mobility Services and Edinburgh Health and Social Care Social Work Locality Teams.

Support Workers -£11-£11.17 per hour. Full-time, Part-time and relief opportunities available

Relief Support Workers- £11 per hour.

We are currently looking to recruit support workers to join our small team within Inclusion Alliance. The role involves supporting people with learning disabilities to be included in the community and lead an ordinary life. Your work would involve helping people to access educational, social, leisure and work or volunteering opportunities in the community.

No experience or formal qualifications are necessary for the role although a caring nature, positive attitude and a sense of fun are important characteristics to have. New staff will receive paid training and undertake shadow shifts with experienced staff members during induction. We want new staff to feel ready and able to work prior to working on their own for the first time.

We have full-time, part time and relief/casual positions in various locations throughout Edinburgh.

• Working hours are based between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday
• We have full-time, 35hrs per week, part-time and casual vacancies available.
• £20,020 - £20,329 per annum, pro rata based on a 35- hour working week
• Relief/ Casual pay rate- £11 per hour

We are seeking to recruit a variety of staff, with a range of skills and experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with skills and expertise in retail, employability, IT/digital, dance and performance.

This role includes supporting students in workshops of their choosing, working one to one with students, and facilitating workshops. The role also involves supporting people with personal care, as and when required.

We are recruiting for full time staff who can work 30 hours a week, between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Upmo is a Living Wage Employer; the rate of pay for this role is £10.50 per hour.
