About Options Moray
Options Moray is a community-based service for children/young people with complex learning disabilities. We offer residential, respite short breaks, family-based care and community support tailored to meet the individual needs of each young person. Staying within a safe, nurturing family home environment the children have a rewarding short break experience which means that their families can feel confident about their care and get the vital break they themselves need to recharge their own batteries.
What we are looking for....
In any family home, tasty meals that meet the dietary and health requirements of the children is essential to their wellbeing. We are looking for a Cook who takes pride in the food they produce and who would relish the opportunity to play a meaningful part in creating a family home environment for the children and young people we support. This is essential for the children to gain the maximum benefit from their short break.
Hours are worked on Saturday/Sunday each week and 4 hours one day per week by arrangement to liaise with the other Cook, preparing orders and general cleaning duties of a working kitchen.
You will hold a Food hygiene certificate (REHIS intermediate or equivalent) or Equivalent knowledge acquired by other means (this will not apply where there are externally specified qualifications for the post e.g. SSSC)
