Role
You join us at an exciting time as we continue to play our part in helping Scotland's children and families recover from the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic. We are a dynamic charity focussed on leading transformational change for children so that they stay safe, happy and well in their own families and communities.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team which is going through a period of change and development.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Preparation of costings for funding bids and tenders
- Month end reconciliations and overhead allocations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Reviewing existing procedures and seeking efficiencies
- Implementation and monitoring of financial controls
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
- Part/Fully Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
- Month-end and management accounts experience
- Have a strong aptitude for analysing financial data
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

FDGM Coordinator (Peripatetic)

We are looking for peripatetic Family Group Decision Making coordinator who will be able to offer Family Group decision making to families across the central belt.
As an FGDM coordinator you will work with children and families of all ages and at different stages of risk and need, depending on the service specific criteria. You will have the opportunity to work with several teams through a blend of virtual and face to face work.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in Family Group Decision Making and would like to extend their skill set. It’s also an opportunity for existing FGDM coordinators to increase their hours.
Further Information
You will have access to bases throughout the central belt and these will vary depending on where existing teams have short term recruitment and capacity gaps. There will be a lot of travel through the central belt along with the with the ability to work in a flexible/hybrid way.
This is fixed term post, funded until August 2023. We welcome applications from applicants looking for either full time or part time hours.
