As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children and young people and providing quality youth work and
employability services we are seeking to recruit for the following posts:
1 x Full Time Youth Development Worker (Youth Work)
£25,052, 35 hours per week fixed term for 1 year, evening work will be required
This post will lead on the development and delivery of our Youth and Children's Work Programme aimed at
5–18-year-olds from within the local area. This includes universal youth clubs, outdoor play service, Open All
Hours provision at the Commonwealth Pool, and school holiday provision. We are looking for an enthusiastic,
motivated, and experienced person who can lead a team of Youth Workers to deliver an engaging, relevant, and
high-quality programme in partnership with children and young people.
1 x Youth Development Worker (Employability)
£25,052 pro rata, 28 hours per week fixed term for 1 year
This post will lead on the delivery of the NOLB Activity Agreement Programme. Canongate Youth is the city centre hub
for this programne and takes referrals from across the city. The postholder will work directly with young people
to agree a bespoke package of activity to encourage and support them in taking their next step towards a
positive destination. We are looking for someone with experience in employability support and training and a
person-centred approach to supporting young people aged 16-24 years.
