You will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation is prepared to face the challenges of competitive tendering through being able to demonstrate quality in all aspects of our work. This includes not only successfully submitting quality bids and identifying/preparing for specific future opportunities but also to review our current policies and procedures to ensure we can demonstrate that we are a quality organisation providing high quality services and manage any successful tender contracts accordingly.

Health in Mind’s Counselling Services are looking to recruit a Team Leader. The Team Leader will be responsible assisting the Counselling Services Manager with the day to day management and ongoing development and delivery of Counselling Services which include – North East, South East, Trauma Counselling including Lothian Men, Wellbeing Therapies, Trauma Counselling Line Scotland and Lothian Deaf Counselling (LDCS). LDCS is specifically targeting the following communities: people who are D(d)eaf deafened or hard of hearing.

You First Advocacy provide an independent professional advocacy service to a wide range of vulnerable adults in Renfrewshire, who require short-term advocacy to address specific issues arising from health, community care or legal interventions. The service is provided by paid staff and trained volunteers.

The Service Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery and management of the service and for ensuring that the contract requirements and standards are met. You will be responsible to the Board and prepare reports to facilitate the development of the service. You will be responsible for promoting Individual and Independent Advocacy in the community.
This is an exciting and challenging post for a person who supports social justice and the rights of vulnerable individuals. It is essential that you have knowledge and experience of Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and other generic client groups. A knowledge of advocacy is also essential. You should have excellent interpersonal skills with previous experience as a manager/supervisor and be able to lead a small dedicated team and manage the budget.
It is essential that you're able to write both descriptive and analytical reports for the board and other stakeholders and support the work of the Board.
