Role

Positive Action in Housing has recently experienced a period of unprecedented growth. We are looking for a talented HR professional to join our team and ensure the needs of our growing staff are met. This is a unique opportunity for an entry level professional to join a charity working at the frontline to enable refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrants to rebuild their lives. You will have experience of administration and have competent digital skills. You will have excellent communication skills allowing you to confidently converse with both staff and managers. You will have the emotional intelligence necessary to understand, process, and address employee issues. You will provide information, advice and guidance to employees and line managers in Positive Action in Housing about all aspects of employment, including interpretation and guidance of HR policies and procedures. You will ensure employees are compliant with HR policies and use disciplinary measures where necessary. You will work with the Director on entry level recruitment and be responsible for the onboarding of new members of staff. You will support the performance review process.

We are looking for someone who is warm, positive, creative, and accountable with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with all members of staff.
