SCIAF has an exciting opportunity to join our team as the permanent Senior Media & Marketing Officer. The role sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will lead the organisation’s press and media presence, alongside looking after offline marketing and advertising activity, including outdoor advertising, TV and radio. The post holder will deliver engaging and measurably impactful activity which increases the organisation’s visibility, engages the relevant audiences and supports our long-term strategy.
The role will be based in our Glasgow office, with opportunities to work flexibly.
Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a strong and creative communicator who can use their extensive experience in managing the media/press, creating powerful tailored communications, and planning and executing marketing campaigns, to help us to reach our ambitious goals – whether through fundraising, campaigning for political change or raising our brand profile.
The role would suit someone with a background in journalism/media, who has experience developing and managing campaigns, with the ability to react quickly to breaking news and manage comms in a crisis.
As a small team, we are looking for a high-performing individual with initiative and enthusiasm, someone flexible and responsive, who can use creativity and strong problem-solving skills to help us reach our goals.
