At CHSS our full-time hours are 32.5 per week so at c. £21,200 the salary equates to £24,100 for an equivalent 37
hour week post.

Scotland (CHSS) as a Peer Support Involvement Coordinator you can be the difference between people just
surviving and really living.
We are looking for a Peer Support Involvement Coordinator to join our amazing team. The role of the Peer Support
Involvement Coordinator is to support and build positive relationships with the affiliated Chest, Heart and
Stroke Peer Support Groups in a designated area. Currently there are approximately 120 peer support groups in
Scotland. The post holder will be required to coordinate regular visits, communicate and update the groups
within their defined geographical area/s.
The Peer Support Involvement Coordinator will be required to work with other CHSS colleagues who can support the
relationship with the groups by providing; advice and information, and through the development of new Peer
Support Groups in a safe and sustainable way.
Candidates don’t need to have medical knowledge as training is provided on our health conditions. We are looking for
someone with a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and long-term conditions; an understanding of
the challenges faced by people with chest, heart and stroke conditions including Long Covid.
Applicants must have a car and a current valid driving licence (expenses are paid at mileage rate).
