The Programme manager will work across Cycling UK's two grants schemes in Scotland, Shift and Scotland Cycle Repair Scheme, ensuring the programme targets and outcomes are met. The role requires a good level of understanding of the needs of different communities, including remote and rural populations as well as the ability to motivate a team working at a distance.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team to support the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for behaviour change programmes. You will be working with multiple stakeholders and teams to ensure we are consistent and robust in our evaluation capabilities.

Using your evaluation and analytical skills, the postholder will work with the Head of development, Project managers, development officers and the Head of monitoring and evaluation to plan and deliver the monitoring, evaluation and research aspects of our behaviour change projects – including Shift, Rural Connections, Scotland Cycle Repair Scheme – that seek to support more people to cycle in communities across Scotland.

You must be able to demonstrate experience in designing surveys, managing large data sets in excel and good working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Our vacancy is for a Health Partnerships Manager to lead and facilitate a collaborative approach to strategic interventions and discussions; co-creating pathways for Scottish Ballet’s neurological programmes to expand into diverse mainstream health & social care settings. The position works closely with Scottish Ballet and the Health & Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE).

About the role

This role is based in the dance health team, reporting into the Senior Dance Health Manager.

• It’s a fixed-term role (2 years)
• Salary is £28,895 - £31,500 per year pro-rata (DOE)
• The role is part-time, 21 hours per week.
• The role will be based in SB HQ and the ALLIANCE offices in Glasgow, with some travel required.

We currently have an opportunity for a driven person to join us as our Delivery Manager for Active Travel. It is an exciting role where you will lead a team to develop and implement projects designed to get more people walking, wheeling and cycling. Active Travel Hubs are where local communities will be able to access led walks and rides, events, information and advice on how to change their behaviour and lead more active lives.

You will lead on Active Travel Projects, working collaboratively with our local authority partners across Ayr and Kilmarnock, in the delivery of the Hubs projects. In addition, you will develop and maintain relationships with Paths for All, South and East Ayrshire councils, Scottish Government, Transport Scotland, local government, and other key Active Travel Delivery Partners to influence and deliver active travel in Scotland.

We offer a truly hybrid model at Sustrans, working flexibly to suit individuals needs. You have the flexibility to work from home a portion of the week but should be based within commutable distance to Glasgow, with weekly travel expected to our new hub in Glasgow (opening July 2022).This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

About you

Using your previous project or event management experience, you will lead, motivate and manage the hubs team who will deliver the projects and events in the local communities.

Successful delivery of behaviour change or community engagement programmes or initiatives is essential for this role, and you will use your knowledge of the issues surrounding walking, wheeling and cycling to advocate for improvements across the region.

You will have the ability to build relationships with ease across a wide range of people from varied backgrounds, allowing you to effectively communicate with colleagues and partners alike.
