About Red Squirrel
Red Squirrel provides a safe, loving, nurturing home for up to three vulnerable children. Building on the well-established body of good practice developed in our Sycamore houses in Fife and the Highlands, Red Squirrel is delivering excellent services to the children living in the house, supporting them to build their resilience and confidence.
What we are looking for....
We are looking for full time and part time Residential Workers ( 17.5 -37.5 hours per week). You will be passionate about working to secure the best outcomes for the children and be committed to doing this. We are looking for workers who are resilient and who have the stickability to work with the children in the long term. The transformational changes we seek to secure are not achieved through quick fixes but are founded on consistent approaches with the children.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a residential child care setting. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or above (for example: SVQ3 Care plus an HNC)
