Role

Home Energy Scotland is an exciting initiative funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust. In Strathclyde and Central Scotland, the advice centre services are delivered by the Wise Group working on a remote first basis. Our team offer expert advice to individuals, communities and organisations in areas such as energy saving, renewable energy, sustainable transport and water efficiency. The work we do contributes towards the Scottish Government’s aims of alleviating fuel poverty and tackling climate change.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Home Energy Scotland team as an Personal Adviser providing free and impartial advice on sustainable energy to householders, businesses and communities. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing the highest standard of professional service and going the extra mile to assist householders through multiple channels, mainly over the telephone.

You will be motivated to play a key role in our team delivering a world class service, making sure that every customer is given an exemplary standard of support and advice. You will answer questions and give advice relating to a wide variety of services with the objective of improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and tangibly reducing fuel poverty.

You will be able to able to think on your feet, solve problems and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs. You will demonstrate personal resilience to support customers experiencing challenging circumstances.

An interest in the environment is advantageous but not essential, full training will be provided.
