Eczema Outreach Support is a vibrant UK-wide charity set up in 2011 to support children and young people with eczema. (Initially we only worked in Scotland, but since 2018 we have opened our doors to members from all four nations).
We know eczema is so much more than itchy skin and we are here to help families living with the impact of eczema on daily life. We provide practical and emotional support, we help families connect with each other, we work with schools to make things better and we make sure the children and young people know they are not alone dealing with the condition.
We are in very exciting times with an increasing membership, reach and influence lead by a new CEO and we are looking for someone to be part of our amazing team and help take our income to the next stage. We are a small, supportive team where everyone's ideas and thoughts are valued and encouraged
About the role
The purpose of this role is to increase the fundraising capability of EOS and secure the income we need to deliver our support to children and young people with eczema. It is part of our new fundraising strategy.
You will take the lead on maintaining and expanding our successful Trusts and Foundations fundraising programme.
You will also support our membership fundraising, looking to improve and maintain our stewardship processes.
This job could be for you if you have fundraising experience and are pro-active, organised and motivated to try new things and contribute ideas

Our small hardworking team of staff at Ronald McDonald House Glasgow are dedicated to helping those families who need us at the most stressful and vulnerable time of their lives.
We have been providing support to thousands of families with seriously ill children in hospital for over twenty-six years and we provide a cost free home away from home for families with children receiving care and undergoing treatment at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and other hospitals in the west of Scotland. We are totally funded by donations and are open and staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
For families with an ill child the House is a fantastic haven at a stressful time when their child’s stay in hospital requires them to be close by.

We are looking for a full-time Events Fundraiser to join us to maximise the charity’s fundraising ability, help raise our profile and play a key role in our success.
What’s involved?
With solid experience in, leading, developing and delivering a calendar of successful income generating events you will lead on Ronald McDonald House Glasgow aspirations to maximise success in financially profitable event opportunities.
You will have demonstrable experience of creating and updating website, social media content and press releases. You will be conversant with liaising with the media and able to actively seek out opportunities for positive press coverage for events, and other charity activities.

You will be a highly organised person skilled in running events. You will have the ability to deal calmly with the unexpected. An effective communicator who is confident reaching out to familiar and new audiences to raise the profile of the charity and source new supporters.

As a Community Fundraiser, you’ll be the face of Marie Curie in the community. Your role will be to support, develop and inspire volunteers, fundraising groups and supporters to ensure our local fundraising activity is as effective as possible.
