Role

Jewish Care Scotland are growing their Income Generation function in line with our organisational strategy. We are looking for a Fundraising and Communications Officer to join our team in time for our 165th anniversary in 2023.

The role will work closely with the Head of Income Generation and our Community and Wellbeing team to raise the organisation’s profile, increase reach and to raise unrestricted funds through various income streams.

The role will focus on the 165th Anniversary by creating opportunities to engage the community, delivering bespoke events and recruiting supporters to get involved in our events, mass participation events and through individual giving.

The post holder will also be responsible for creating engaging content for our social media channels and external publications.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in a fundraising or communications role (preferably in the third sector) and knowledge of all income streams.
