Role

Based near Ayr, this dynamic organisation, an independent charity promotes energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable transport in the domestic, community and business sectors throughout South West Scotland.

The Energy Agency delivers a variety of contracts, including the Energy Efficient Scotland: Area Based Schemes for South Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway Councils and the Home Energy Scotland advice service to south west Scotland. Consultancy and education work covering all aspects of advice on energy efficiency, micro generation and sustainability is also provided.

The Energy Agency is committed to reducing our own energy, water and materials waste, thereby improving our overall efficiency and sustainability.

Primary Purpose

The Officer will be responsible for communications and publicity of the Energy Agency activities. The role involves coordinating information within the organisation and working with external stakeholders – local authorities, politicians, organisations, communities and householders.

Driving licence is desirable.
