Role

Introduction

Teapot Trust seeks to be a recognised and respected leader in Creative Health. The charity provides a UK wide programme of art therapy in hospitals, online and in community settings to support the mental health of children and young people living with chronic, physical conditions and their families.

In our 11 year history, we’ve supported around 13,000 children and young people.

About the trustee roles

Teapot Trust would like to appoint 3-4 new trustees as part of succession planning to join the board in September 2022.

We’d especially welcome applications from people with the experience, below, and from those from diverse backgrounds.

  • lived experience as a parent of a child with a hidden health condition
  • art therapy expertise
  • strategic fundraising expertise
  • senior level charity sector expertise
  • An empathy with our cause is crucial.

Trustees usually serve for a three-year term renewable once for up to a further three years.

We’re requesting applications by Friday 15th May so the selection process can happen in good time prior to September’s board meeting when new trustees will be ratified.

Teapot Trust is a Disability Confident charity.

Application notes
