Are you interested in joining an award-winning Scottish mental health charity whose aim is to provide support to people whose lives are affected by mental ill health?
Our new ‘Signature Project’ will reach out to men over 16 years of age who are experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and serious mental ill health as a result of living through the Covid-19 pandemic. The Project has been set up to respond to an increase in GP referrals from men who are at risk of suicide.
We are developing a city-wide outreach project, the ‘Signature Project’, working with two major partners to raise awareness, signpost to help and resources and deliver emotional support through one of our existing Edinburgh services: the Stafford Centre.
This project is funded to help communities recover by Mental Health UK and our charity partner Lloyds Banking Group.
This role will work with an Outreach Worker and a Support Worker who are directly involved with the ‘Signature Project’. These posts will collaborate closely with the Communications Worker to help deliver case studies, content, PR activity and more to increase the public profile of this project. Additionally, the role will link with the Communications team at Support in Mind Scotland to ensure ‘Signature Project’ activity fits in with communications strategies and schedules.
